Destination Manhattan

Ya I wish, but the two story Spa on Flamingo and Hualapi will have to do. Destination Manhattan is a glamourous spa that my good friend Michelle works at. She is an amazing Esthetician aka Skin Care Provider and has the best customer service skills. Yes, the economy is bad but if you are as hairy as me you need to hire a maintenace crew every so often! No one wants a unibrow=) Go check it out: http://www.destinationspasalon.com/Salons/Manhattan/index.htm

If you go ask for Michelle!

Lia Sophia

Last night I attended my fourth Lia Sophia party. For those that don't know, it is a beautiful jewelry line that has been around for awhile. Their jewelry is so pretty. All of their stones are real, all their pieces are plated with 14k gold, and every piece you buy has a lifetime guarantee. One of my friends sells it and hosts many party's. They are such a fun reason to get your girls together, eat, drink, and buy fun jewelry. We had the party at Jen's mom's highrise in the Art District. It was so nice and edgy. The view of the city was amazing. If you have a Lia Sophia party you get a lot of free items, plus money to spend on jewelry.
YAAAY for girls nights!

Good Things Come in 3's

Everyone knows my love for weddings, but when it is a best friend getting married it is so much more special and important. Three of my best friends are getting married to their amazing fiance's this year. Jen on May 30th at Pauite Golf Course, Missy on August 8th at Lake Tahoe, and Elissa on Sept.19th at A Secret Garden. I am so excited for them to experience how awesome married life is. It is a blessing and these 3 girls deserve it! I can't wait for all of the festivities to begin. I am honored to be a bridesmaid in two of them as well. Love you girls! Here are some of their engagement photos with their soon to be husbands:

Spice up the bar

I love the idea of a signature drink at weddings. You can choose a drink to fit with your color palette, your last name, or the season. My best friend Jen is getting married in May and her last name is going to be Hodgen. So they are thinking of doing a Hodgentini!! Seasonal drinks are a fun splash to any bar as well. A Pumpkin Spiced beverage or a hot chocolate and Baileys are ways to incorporate the season. They even have colored sugars that you could rim your glass with to add in some color.

HELLO HELLO HELLO

So my favorite thing since I knew what a kitty was, has launched her own makeup line!! Hello Kitty is getting fierce in 2009 with a M.A.C makeup line. Her cute little face is on compacts, lipsticks, eyeshadows, and more. If you know me then you know my love for Hello Kitty. M.A.C is already number 1 in my eyes, but they just had to step it up a notch with her. I know what some of my tax money is going towards!

Creative Mind

I had the privilege of attending the Catersource/Eventsolutions tradeshow. It consisted of restaurant equipment, food, drinks, and event vendors. I was excited to see a portion of the tradeshow was an abundance of tables all decorated in different themes and designs. These decorators really thought outside of the box. It just goes to show you can do anything when it comes to weddings/events. Above are some of favorite tables.

Wedding Professionals Afternoon Tea

Friday afternoon me and 8 other wedding professionals went to the Bellagio for some afternoon tea. It was my first High Tea experience and I loved it. It was in this nice lounge called the Petrossian Lounge. Since we had a larger group our food was Chef's choice and he deifinitley chose some good ones. We had an assortment of tea sandwiches, pastries, and scones. I chose to drink a tea called Vanilla Rooibos. It was a great experience and it is so nice getting to know other people in the industry.

Reality Show Junkie

So now matter how much time goes on I always somehow get sucked into the cheesiest reality shows. Just when I think I am over one.....a new one is out to haunt me! Brett Michaels is an idiot, Ray J is ridiculous, and The Bachelor is overated. Do they have reality show rehab?
