Everyone has their vice

As a little girl I would spend every Summer with my couzin Tiffany at my Aunt Fran's house. It was then that I learned my obsession with shoes. I would constantly play dress up in my Aunt's huge selection of fabulous shoes. Ofcourse that had to stop around age 8 because my aunt has tiny feet! Here I am now, 25 and still drooling over shoes I see. My goal one day is to own a pair of Christian Louboutin shoes. I go to his website to check out his latest styles. He is known for putting a red sole under most of his shoes. Here are the top 3 contenders:

My friends are always teasing me because I am constantly in high heels. Yes, I will be the mother pushing her baby in a stroller with a 3 inch heel! Thanks Aunt Fran =)

As I was hanging up some work shirts of Antwone's the other day I realized:
I married a man who shares my love of shoes! As you can see from his closet, I am not the only shoe whore in this marriage! Sadly, there was a ton of shoes on the floor of his closet as well. Needless to say, but we do not share a closet!!

For all the shoe lovers out there

Home is where the heart is

It is a huge goal for me and Antwone to own a house before we start having kids. It is a buyers market right now so we are hoping sooner then later we can call ourselves "Home Owners." As much as we love our 2 bedroom condo, there is something very rewarding about saying you own your own home. Two good friends of mine just recently bought homes. CONGRATS to the couples below:

Barry and Elissa-Soon to be Mr.and Mrs. Villatoro

The Murawski's aka The Cupcakers
Now the question remains....Where will New Years be at this year? LOL.

Six Candles

Every Year me and Antwone take a road trip to Cali for my little couzin's birthday. He turned six this year and we celebrated in style with a Scooby Doo theme. The party was filled with friends, family, and yummy Italian food. Sebastian was the ring bear in our wedding. He is the most hilarious little boy. After opening his pile of gifts he then had one last gift to open. My dad bought him the Wii! I told my dad that I wanted one and his unwelcoming response was "Your wedding was your Wii!" Fair enough....I guess=) I can't wait for many more years of Sebastian Celebrations! Can't wait for his 21st in VEGAS!! Only 15 more years to go!

When my grandparents passed away my Aunt Paulette (Sebastian's Mom) bought their house so it would stay in the family. It is a huge one story home with a lot of memories. It sits on top of a hill with a cool view of the city. In the hallway hangs this amazing picture of my grandparents wedding day. I love the vintage look of it. Life looked so simple and easy back then. The times when men were men and women were women. I hope a old wedding picture of mine hangs in my kids homes one day!!

Overboard

As we all know Twilight has taken over the world. It is hard not to day dream about being Mrs. Cullen; Edward is perfect! My friend sent me a email about a Twi-hard tattoo gallery. I am in love with the series and look forward to the rest of the movies being released but these fans and their tattoos are nuts! They say you shouldn't get a boy's name tattooed on you...does the rule also apply to a book?

Sometimes you feel like a Nut....Sometimes you don't

So I just realized that I haven't wrote on this blog in FOREVER! It is crazy how fast time goes by. Summer is winding down and before I know it the holidays will be here. Our summer was crazy. It consisted of work, weddings, cars breaking down, and me trying to get a tan so it looks like I was on a Tropical Island. I told Antwone we are not allowed to make anymore friends because between: weddings, baby showers, bridal showers, graduations, house warming parties, and birthday parties our fund to becoming home owners is diminishing slowly!
I love the website http://www.postsecret.com/. For those of you that don't know what that is, here is a brief lesson:
Post secret is a ongoing community mail art project, created by Frank Warren, in which people mail their secrets annoymously on one side of a homemade post card.

Here are some of my favorite post-secrets of the week.

Off to get some beauty sleep...Elissa's Pink and Bling Bridal Shower is tomorrow!
