September is Hunger Action Month. A group called Three Square is the valley’s food hub; a central location where donated and rescued food can be collected and distributed. We provide bakery, produce, dairy, non-perishable products and ready-to-eat meals to non-profit and faith-based organizations. We also facilitate childhood and senior nutrition programs. We are a place for members of the community to meet, serve and collaborate as part of the food solution.
(Taken from the Three Square Website.)Three square decided to put on a event called Restaurant Week. Many of Vegas's local restaurants participated in this by creating menu's at a fixed price and having the proceeds go to Three Square.
My boss Juliet and I decided to take part in this and we went to Michael Mina inside the Bellagio. The restaurant was nice and the food was yummy!
